According to a top official, an office space provider, CoWrks has signed three deals to lease a commercial office space spread in over 2.25 lakh sq. ft. of landscapes in Gurugram and Mumbai. The company will also start one office in Mumbai and two offices in Gurugram.
CoWrks chief executive said, “We are making a great move towards forming alliances and leasing with the landlords to improve our presence by considering a strong demand for shared office spaces in all big cities in India. We are venturing into major commercial markets of Gurugram and Mumbai with three more office spaces in our portfolio.” Over 95,000 sq. ft. of office spaces have been leased in Worli, Mumbai out of the total leased spaces recently, while over 1.28 lakh sq. ft. have been picked in Gurugram with two different transactions. The company is going to launch all the three major centers which would serve up to 2500 seats by the end of February.
In addition, they also leased three other centres across South India and 5 centres that are under construction and spreading up to 5.5 lakh sq. ft. In addition, the promoter company of RMZ would have co-working spanning 1mn sq. ft. across Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon and Chennai. In Sept 2016, the company was established. It is a start-up which has three centers in total across Chennai and Bangalore.
The Chennai centre of CoWrks spreads over 24000 sq. ft. and two centres in Bangalore spread up to 2.30 lakh sq. ft. The company will introduce its centre of over 88000 sq. ft. in Chennai within the next 2 months. By that period, there will be two more centres launched by the company.
The first centre in Gurugram will be launching as part of the whole IT Park to be spreading over 7.8 lakh sq. ft. It will be owned by RMZ Corp for whopping INR 800 Cr. The RMZ Gurugram Council will have 800 seats. Another centre in Gurugram will be established on Golf Course Road in Paras Twin Tower and it will serve up to 700 seats.
