Runwal Group Offers INR 1000 Crores for 25 Acres to Crompton Greaves

By offering Rs. 1000 Crores to Crompton Greaves for 25 acres of landscape in Mumbai, Runwal Group has become the highest bidder, followed by Kalpataru and Lodha Developers. Their due diligence is continuing and they are expected to conclude the deal within the next 2 to 3 months, according to the sources. Crompton is selling off a part of total 34 acres of land parcel at the Kanjur Marg suburb while keeping the 9 acres of land on which the facility is located. A spokeswoman from Avantha Group stated that the company is not going to comment on the speculations of the market. The transaction advisor of JLL India and Runwal Group has refused to comment on the issue.
