The system has been designed by USGBC (Green Building Council of the US). It delivers building operators and owners a clear framework to implement and identify the measurable and sensible green building construction, operations, and design and maintenance solutions. LEED Platinum rating is considered to be highest level given for having 80% of scores around all metrics which matter water efficiency, energy savings, reduction of CO2 emissions, stewardship of resources, enhanced quality of indoor environment and sensitivity to other impacts.
