THDC or Tata Housing Development Company is a fully owned real estate arm of Tata Sons, which holds Tata Group. Established by the late JRD Tata in 1984, Tata Housing was revived under Brotin Banerjee’s leadership in 2006, who is the CEO and MD of Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd. Since revival, the company has become one of the topmost holistic real estate developers and built several landmark projects in the country. Tata Housing has forged the concept of premium and low-cost housing to be accessible to even the economically weaker families.

The developer has also forged the aspect of sustainable eco-friendly developments with Xylem, its first commercial development in Bangalore, making it first sustainable IT Park in Bangalore. It is the 100% subsidiary of Tata Housing to cater to the needs of affordable and low-cost housing in the country ranging from Rs. 4 to Rs. 10 Lakhs, in order to meet the needs of around 26 million low-budget households in the country.
